Recruitment News from J&K FSL for the post forensic Profesionals on the basis of Direct Recruitment

5
J&K Govt is going to recruit the forensic professionals (ASO Crime Scene) soon. This is for the time where only the candidates having MSc in Forensic Science will be eligible to apply for these posts. This is a very nice initiative taken by the said govt keeping in view the growing unemployment issues being faced by the Forensic students. Almost in all the FSLs & CFSLs in India, candidates from pure sciences occupy most of the positions leaving nothing for those who have got relevant qualifications for those posts. This should be eye opener for other state governments where they can amend the requirement rules so that jobs in Forensic labs should be kept exclusively for students having forensic educational background.

UPPSC Examination Calendar Released: Awaiting Forensic Science Officer Exam

As always, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the examination calendar for the year. This time, there is hope that the screening examination for the position of Scientific Officer at the Forensic Science Laboratory will proceed on the scheduled date.

However, with Uttar Pradesh already grappling with a significant backlog of cases—around 50,000 pending cases—it is critical that the recruitment process for this important role is conducted promptly and efficiently.

The timely completion of this examination is essential, as the Forensic Science Laboratory plays a crucial role in solving crimes and assisting the judicial system in resolving cases. In light of this, it is crucial that the UPPSC follows through with its commitment to conduct the examination as planned.

Despite this, one cannot ignore the long-standing delay in various examinations by UPPSC. With many examinations still pending since 2017, the question arises whether the process will even be completed by 2025. πŸ˜•

Let’s hope that this time, UPPSC manages to meet expectations and does not add to the already existing backlog!
